Deadly Encounter on a Public Path A murder inquiry has opened after a man died following an attack by a dog in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon around 2 pm on a popular walking route along an old trainline footpath.
Multiple witnesses, including two women who intervened to help the injured man, were present at the scene.
